1. Introduction
Conflict Kinetics ("CK", "we", "us", or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and manage your information when you use our secure training platform application (the “App”), which is available for download on public app stores but only accessible with an authorized access credential known as a Mission Code.
By using the App, you agree to the terms outlined in this Privacy Policy.
2. Information We Collect
a. User Account Information
When you create an account, we collect:
● First and last name
● Email address
● Password (encrypted)
● Mission Code used for access
If a user does not have a Mission Code and submits an access request instead, we also collect:
● Affiliation (e.g., CK Member, CK Client, Other)
● An optional message or reason for requesting access
This access request information is used solely to evaluate eligibility for joining the platform and is reviewed by CK Moderators and Admins.
b. Device & Technical Information
We collect certain technical information to help optimize app performance and troubleshoot issues:
● Device make and model
● Operating system and version
● General location (e.g., city, state), if location access is granted by the user
This data is also used to configure push notifications based on device type (iOS or Android).
c. User-Generated Content
Approved users can:
● Upload training videos
● Submit and respond to “Requests” (forum-style content topics)
● Post comments and replies on content
Each piece of content is associated with the uploading user unless that user’s account is later deactivated. In such cases, attribution will appear as “Deactivated User”.
Content visibility options include:
● Public – visible to all approved users of the App
● Private – visible only to the uploader and CK Moderators/Admins
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
● Manage user accounts and verify access credentials
● Facilitate interaction between users through comments and content sharing
● Moderate content for quality, security, and relevance
● Improve CK’s internal training systems and methods
● Process content removal requests and manage access control
CK may review anonymized or exemplary content to enhance training strategies or share limited previews with prospective clients under strict access conditions.
4. Access Control and Content Visibility
Access to the App is controlled by time-sensitive Mission Codes, each associated with specific user groups or clients.
Admins and CK Moderators have the authority to:
● Moderate or remove content
● Review flagged videos, comments, or requests
● Manage content visibility (Public/Private)
● Approve or deny access and content removal requests
● Organize training material into structured folders and playlists
Users can report inappropriate or inaccurate content. Flagged items are automatically set to Private until reviewed.
5. Data Retention and Account Management
a. Content Retention
User-uploaded content remains on the App unless removed through one of the following actions:
● The uploader requests content removal (subject to review)
● Admins or CK Moderators determine content violates policy or is no longer useful
Approved removal results in permanent deletion of the content, along with associated comments, replies, and ratings. Denied requests result in restoration of the original visibility status.
b. Account Deactivation
User accounts may be deactivated under the following conditions:
● At the request of the user
● Due to disassociation with CK or an affiliated client
● For inactivity or policy violations
Deactivated accounts cannot be reused or reactivated with the same email unless specifically authorized. Associated content may be retained if CK determines it is valuable for ongoing training access. All content from a deactivated user will show the label “Deactivated User.”
